Die Sattelkammer, supplier of well known Equestrian brands trusted by horse riders and owners alike. Die Sattelkammer is one of the oldest supplier of equestrian goods and tack in Namibia. The shop situated in the Old Breweries Square, shop number 18 in Windhoek. Die Sattelkammer was a Department in the well known family business, Wecke & Voigts, for more than 100 years. Due to the expansion of some departments within the business, and the lack of space, Helga Voigts took over Die Sattelkammer, and on the 1st of July 1997, a little shop (15sqM) was opened at the Gymkhana Club in Windhoek.
Half a year later, Die Sattelkammer was bursting out of its seams and the Club
kindly offered their storeroom which was about 40sqM. Die
Sattelkammer operated
from this storeroom for about 2 years, and then moved into town to the
Gutenberg Platz. Within Gutenberg Platz, the shop was moved twice, as more space
was required to accommodate all the stock, which increased in
line with the growth of the business. We adhere to the needs of all the equestrian sports : Dressage, Showjumping, Endurance, etc.
